1. What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Nice wine, fine meal, good film and great friends.

2. What is your greatest fear?

Memory card failing before I download the images!!

3. Which historical figure do you most identify with?

In my head I look like one of the Spartans from 300.

4. Which living person do you most admire?

Nick Cave for his creativity, Sam Harris for his eloquence.

5. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

Waiting for the perfect moment to start something instead of just getting on with it.

6. What is the trait you most deplore in others?

Ignorance.

7. What is your greatest extravagance?

Fodder for my travel bug.

8. On what occasion do you lie?

Not since I read “Lying” by Sam Harris.

9. What do you dislike most about your appearance

I don’t like my smile – all gums and no teeth.

10. When and where were you happiest

My wedding day. Really, I’m not just saying it.

11. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

I would like it if I was 1/4″ taller so I’m 6’3″ even

12. If you could change one thing about your family what would it be?

I would bring them closer together – geographically speaking

Getting to where I am considering where I started

Teacher

Memories – I’m not attached to things

Loneliness

People who champion reason and common sense even when it makes them unpopular
